Born in Bristol, Elena Louise is a current Ma Fine Art and Photography student studying at UWE Bristol

She completed her BA in photography at Bournemouth University in 2025, graduating with a First Class degree.

She focuses mainly on studio and fine art photography, but has completed some projects away from this genre. 

In 2023, she created a photo book named "I See Red", a compilation of street photography images all with the re-occurring theme of red within them. Although the idea was simple, the final outcome was interesting and is something she is proud of. 

In 2024, a professional project was completed with the clinical trials unit in the Bristol Dental Hospital. Working together they created a set of images promoting the link between dementia and gum disease. 

In 2025, her graduate project was a studio based project based on feminism and the representation of women. The final outcome consisted of a Photo-poetry book and a small exhibition with three prints.
